Cheng Beng 2011

Woke up at 4.00AM this morning.. Dress up and make a move at 4.50AM.. My uncle came to fetch us and headed to McDonalds for Breakfast! I’m lovin it! XD

From there, after eating we moved earlier than others at 5.35AM, topped up gasoline at Kinrara, and have a meet up with the rest of them again by the highway..

As ussual, not feeling sleepy at all as I have to watch the route all the way there.. I always need to guide the driver and that’s my responsibility every year! I’m the family’s GPS!

The traffic was clear and smooth and we reached Nirvana, Semenyih at 6.30AM.. Not much people most probably it too early in days, and too early in time too! I practiced the way to offer incense and conduct it on myself for the very first time.. I done it with guides from my aunt last year.. This year, I did it 80% by myself!

I even help to arrange the food for prayers and the set up this year as my cousin sister is not there, she’s having her exams tomorrow.. So, I helped around as the eldest young girl there.. I’m so proud * I admit it *..

And also, I offered both of my late grandparents tea.. I suppose to pour only abit, but knowing nothing at all, I poured the whole cup! XD.. I know what to do next time then.. ;) Fireworks and firecrackers were heard and hitting my ear drums hard and sharp! I didn’t close my ears as I’m used to the high volume sound.. (Immune to it after PMR last day’s out side of the school’s encounter)..

We then continue our journey to Cheras, to visit my late uncle.. Leaved Nirvana at 7.50AM and reached Cheras at 8.30AM.. Encountering the dogs in the temple is what I fear every year.. But this year, the dogs are caged! So, lucky me! =)

While waiting, I told them bout LCW and DLCW, LCW- Let China Win, DLCW- Don’t Let China Win.. They laughed and enjoyed! I’m entertained! And of course, we ate dumplings and grapes! I love the ‘leong cha’ today.. Just fine! =D

Then bout 9.30AM we left the place, and go makan! haha.. The best part besides being with family out there every ‘cheng beng’.. We ate at Paramount this year.. There is a Dim Sum store there, a branch of Taman Megah Dim Sum that we used to eat.. I ordered ‘cheong fun’ and the dish was vanished less than a minute..!!! ( Not eating alone.. My mom and brother ate most of it! I suppose?! XD ) … The cost was 88.. RM 88 for 21 plates of dim sum, 2 plates of pork ribs, 1 plate of cheong fun, 2 char siew pau, and a pot of tea… WOW! RM88… Guessed he wants us to 88 too!

Walked over to Giant! What we heard is only aunty making noise! The promotion is a trap… this and that.. This and that… haiz… Aunties right,.. All the small kids and both of my unlces say nothing! Nothing at all…

Came back and reached home about 11.00AM… Rested for awhile and followed my mom out to Sunway Piramid! I Bought a Kingston 4GB Data Traveler! hehehe… It’s mine!

 

P/S : Good Luck Juniors (U15) for Netball MSSD tomorrow! We’ll  be by your sides always! There for you guys! Relax and rest tonight pls! =D…
